In both the cases Muslim fighting for the cause of Allah or fighting for their own cause regarding throwing them out from their lands by Jews not a big difference. Jews are following false religion. I read Spencers book. Perhaps there is a middle way. Yes, a certain "Ubul Quasim" may have existed, and accounted for the core of the story of Mohammed.
